Surviving in the Wild: 19 Common Edible Plants

ITS Tactical just posted a little something about edible plants. It was a good read. It’s nice to touch up on the old skills and once again to be reminded of what to eat and not to eat in case of an emergency.

So you’re stranded in the wilderness. You consumed the last nub of your Clif Bar two days ago, and now you’re feeling famished. Civilization is still several days away, and you need to keep up your strength. The greenery all around you is looking more and more appetizing. But what to nibble on? Some plants will keep you alive and are chock full of essential vitamins and minerals, while some could make you violently ill….or even kill you.

This is what I do at the gym and at home – great workout actually, I’m glad I found it a while back… Been doing this for about a year now and my back problems are long gone and my “functional strength” is getting better and better!
