I really need to get me a pair of shorts for this summer as my old ones are either to big or just worn out and then TripleAughtDesign out of the blue releases a new pair of shorts, the Force 10 Cargo Shorts – NYCO Ripstop.
These looks really good and comfy so they are at the top of my wish list.
Militarymorons.com has made a review of the shorts and you’ll find the review here, browse down and you’ll find it.
More durable than ever
This year, we made our Force 10 Cargo Short in Nylon Cotton (NYCO) Ripstop, upgrading their overall durability and tear-resistance while maintaining breathability.
Because we know you’ll put these shorts through the paces, we placed reinforcements at the seat and pocket clip area to extend their life. The seat reinforcement is secured by double needle, one-eighth inch stitching while the inseam and outseam feature triple needle stitching, making these our toughest wearing Force 10 Short ever.
Rather than sewing them on, we secured all buttons on nylon webbing with bartacks to give them far greater staying power. This approach also allows you to do a quick, easy field repair without needle and thread using the accompanying slotted self-repairing button.
Intelligent storage keeps your gear close at hand
The eight pockets include internal D-rings for dummycording your gear to keep it secure and close at hand. A new feature in this version, the hidden Passport Pockets on the rear interior hold your personal documents discretely. We placed two D-rings in the front belt loops to hold flashlights, keys or other gear.
Streamlined fit designed for active use
This season, we evolved the fit with cleaner lines for less bulk. The result is a lower profile, less drag and a streamlined look. Whatever your activity of choice, the gusseted crotch will ensure your full range of motion.
FAST Pack EDC
This is also a little piece of gear that caught my eye when I was browsing their website and it looks like pretty much the same as my Camelback HAWG, carry wise that is, not the design it self.
